FEMA Registration Opens Monday, May 4, for January Ice Storm Relief

LEE COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI — In-person FEMA registration, survivor intake, and referrals to available recovery resources will be available for Lee County at the Guntown Volunteer Fire Department from Monday, May 4, through Saturday, May 9.

The Guntown Volunteer Fire Department is located at 1663 Main Street in Guntown. Assistance will be available on Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m., and on Saturday from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. This will be the only week for in-person assistance.

Lee County Board of Supervisors President Barry Parker said, “We encourage anyone in Lee County who was affected by the January ice storm and in need of assistance to stop by the Guntown Volunteer Fire Department and meet with the Disaster Recovery Assistance team. If you prefer, you can also go to www.DisasterAssistance.gov. We appreciate the assistance from FEMA and MEMA.”
