Meet Our District Supervisors
George Rutledge
District 1
George is a 1974 Tupelo High School graduate, and he graduated from Mississippi State University in 1982 with his Bachelor of Business Administration. He has decades of experience working with elected and appointed state, county, and city officials. In his free time he volunteers at his church, First United Methodist of Tupelo, plays golf, and enjoys walking, biking, and swimming.
Mike Smith
District 2
Mike graduated from East Union High School before attending Mississippi State University where he graduated with his BS in animal science. He grew up in a family-owned cattle operation and livestock auction business. This led to him returning to Lee County after college to start his own beef cattle operation. Over the years he has gained experience in everything from nutrition, animal health, land management, accounting, marketing, networking and research to technology. He is a member of Calvary Baptist Church, and his free time is spent with his wife, daughter, and two grandkids.
Wesley Webb
District 3
Wesley is a Tupelo High School graduate who grew up in the cattle business. After graduating he worked for a cattle company for 8 years where he was on horseback most of the day as he doctored and sorted cattle. He then came back to Lee County to sell real estate with his office now being open for 19+ years. In his free time he attends church at The Orchard in Tupelo, builds spec houses, and enjoys outdoor activities and friends.
Tommy Lee Ivy
District 4
Tommy is a Shannon High School graduate who also graduated from Mary Holmes Junior College in West Point in 1968 and Lane College in 1970. Tommy worked for Pennsylvania Tire or 9 years, as well as, a plumbing company. In his free time he enjoys being at his church, Union Baptist Missionary Church in Shannon, and spending time with his wife of 50 years and his 4 children. Tommy is the longest serving Lee County Board member at 28 years.
Barry Parker
District 5
Barry is a Shannon High School graduate with experience working for Senator Roger Wicker as a constituent liaison for the Veterans in North MS. He is also a retired E9 command sergeant major of the Army National Guard with 37 years of service and 3 deployments to the Middle East. In his free time he attends Crosspointe Fellowship Church.
