The Cadence Bank Arena (North Hall), a certified American Red Cross shelter, opened at 9:00 a.m. this morning as a warming shelter in expectation of the winter storm and frigid temperatures expected for those without shelter and/or power. The shelter is operated by ARC and will remain open until deemed no longer necessary.
